The High Seas

On the open ocean the vessel of the Seekers sails for one week either going out into the world or coming back in with a precious cargo. This is no cruise vessel though since getting to and from Avalon is very difficult. There are many natural barriers around the island. Rocks, reefs, sand bars, and the weather in the seas near the isle can suddenly go from raging tempest to perfectly still doldrums and back again. While the ship always makes it back, sometimes the crew and passengers do not.
