Canyons

To the Eastern side of the South Region the mountains meet the desert forming cliffs and canyons that dry hot winds pass through and thermals push air up forming strange winds here. Melt water from the mountains flows along the bottom of these canyons, small ribbons shining at the bottoms of deep canyons which only see the light of day directly at noon for some.
